Your products are approved for the Code version only listed on both the Evaluation Report and the LARR approval letter.  If either product approval document does not list the current version of the Building Code, you will need to have these updated.

A building plan checker reviews most grading plans. The grading plan checker will review grading plans for grading work in conjunction with an approved subdivision map or to issue grading permits to correct a hazardous soil condition per LABC 7005.7.

The steps are the same as regular approval, as follows:

Submit the following:

  1. The City Clerk's office will assign a number, date stamp and log in your claim. They will then send it to Building and Safety, Financial Services for review.
  2. Financial Services staff will also log it in.
