Callers from outside Los Angeles can call (213) 473-3231.
- Provides immediate responses to all calls requiring non-technical assistance
- Processes property complaints
- Takes all Request for Inspections (single request only)
- Provides inspection date and time
- Refers zoning/code questions to Engineer and Inspector
- Answers general questions (i.e. office hours and locations)

Be Flexible
"Have a Can Do Attitude"
Many projects are unique and may not comply with the verbiage of a code regulation. We encourage our customers to use LADBS' "Request for Modification of Building Ordinances" along with LAFD's agreement (when required) to provide an equivalency to comply with the intent of the regulation and build safe.

We will use our Code knowledge to not only to "call out" deficiencies, but also advise customers how to solve or correct deficiencies and help foresee bumps in the road.

We will promptly return calls and emails, schedule meetings, and make decisions on customers' requests.
