To do that, we've done some reorganizing:

- We organized our content, services, and applications into 5 major Building & Safety operations, grouping them so they are easier to find. The major operations are:

I. Plan Review & Permitting - We review your construction plans for code compliance, and issue permits so you can legally start building

II. Inspection - We inspect every stage of your construction project to make sure it is up to code

III. Enforcement - We respond to reports of code violations

IV. Property Records - We provide official records about properties in Los Angeles

V. Licensing - We certify inspectors to do inspections on behalf of LADBS

- The Quicklinks menu mirrors the old site's Services menu, so you can still quickly find your most-accessed services.

- The Forms & Publications menu is no longer just a dropdown, but a full page of all our forms and publications organized by category. It now features a search bar to make searching for documents easier.

- Our new website is now more accessible, with an accessibility menu on the lower right, and a variety of language translations to choose from. It also looks great on mobile!
